| We are Jaqueline and David Coutts and we live
together with our dogs in Maria Hoop, in Limburg, the Netherlands. In 2001 I, Jaqueline, got my first Gordon Setter pup called Hades v.'t Blockhuijs. Since the day Hades arrived at our home, I knew that I couldn't imagine living my life without having these fascinating dogs around me. When I left my parents house in 2005 to live with my husband David, Hades off course came with me. Soon David and I decided that it would be nice if Hades would get a little friend and so we got Achilles (Black Devil's Clint) in 2006. In the summer of 2007 we got another dog, called Eyke (Black Devil's Eyke). We really enjoy our boys, taking them for nice long walks, train them and show them. And so we decided that we would like to breed Gordons in the future. In 2008 we finally registered our Kennel name : FARQUHARSON'S. This is the clan name for the Scottish family name Coutts and because this is our family name and David himself comes from the Scottish Highlands, it has a special meaning for us. November 2008, we got our first Gordon bitch, called Enya (Black Devil's Gwyneth). She's a daughter of Hades and the German Champion bitch black Devil's Temptation. Enya is full of energy and a real joy to live with. February 2010 we got our second bitch, a sweet and soft girl called Dixie (Sunsetter's Forever Young), Dixie was already 2,5 years old when she joined our family, but it feels like she has always been here. Hopefully she'll be the mother of our first litter, which we are planning for the summer of 2010. We hope that FARQUHARSON'S will stand for good, quality and healthy Gordon with strong characters, cause that is what our aim in breeding is.
